Look to Jesus.
I'm not sure why this particular attack hit me more than others. Maybe it's because I knew a few people that were in Paris this past Friday or maybe it's because I'm actually starting to wake up more and realize that there is so much more to the world than just me. The more my eyes are opened to all the pain and suffering that this world has, the heavier my heart is and the more it breaks to be doing something "more". But sometimes "more" means being present where you are and letting God open your eyes to the people right in front of you and praying for the other nations. It's hard when that's what "more" is but sometimes that's how it is. While we may wish we could carry the pain for the people who've been hurt, we have to remember we are only one person and only Jesus can handle the pain of many people. So today, in the midst of all this hurt and brokenness, turn your eyes to Jesus and encourage others to do the same because He's the only one that can bind up the wounds of more than a million hearts.
