"Don't Dream Too Big"
I can't tell you the number of times I've said that to myself. More and more as people ask me "What do you wanna do after graduation?" I find myself shrinking back from my real answer. I do realize that you can't get your dream job right after graduation and I know finances are a real issue. I don't think we should treat God as a vending machine or a genie but I do think that we definitely need to take more things to Him in prayer than we do. Sometimes I feel like it's easy to be scared to dream big and voice your dreams to God because you feel that your expectations are too high or you may feel like something is too "impossible" so we never take the time to voice our dreams or pray about them. I think we often forget that the same God that was with Abraham, Moses, Noah and Esther is with us today.
That's all I wanted to say, this was just something I was thinking through and wanted to share

I'm learning how to Pray Big which might go hand in hand with dreaming big for your future. I don't know, like I said, I'm still learning how to Pray Big and what that means. =]
ReplyDeleteyea I guess they are kinda similar. It's cool that you're learning that though :)
