Be Still

When we end up in "battles" it's so easy for us to want to do something. We want to take action. We want to solve the problem and try to make it better. We think we know what we are doing sometimes but when really God asks us to just be still and trust Him. There's going to be battles that we shouldn't fight, there's going to be times that even though we are frustrated and just want to fix everything, we just have to be still and know that He is God. There are simply things that are out of our control and when that happens we just have to trust Him. It's easier said than done and it's definitely a process.

A lady who spoke at a retreat I went to a bit back shared it with me and ever since she's shared it, it's helped me to realize that when things are out of my control, I need to just let go, be still and trust Him. I can't see what He's doing but just because I can't see what He's doing, doesn't mean He's not at work. I hope this can be an encouragement to you as well for when things are out of your hands to just let go, be still and give it to Him.
