GREAT is Your faithfulness Oh God
So, today while I was reading through Authentic Beauty by Leslie Ludy for part of my devotionals, it opened up with these 2 questions:
Do you believe that God is always faithful?
In what ways has God already proven Himself faithful in your life?
These questions got me going and I really began to start thinking of ways God has proven Himself as faithful.
It then directed me to read Genesis 21:1-7 (I'd strongly encourage you to do so)
It talked about how when Sarah gave birth to Issac even though she and Abraham were
extremely old. It is pretty much impossible to give birth in such old age, yet God allowed Sarah to have a child. It just blew my mind to think of how big God can show His faithfulness.
I began to start thinking back on times through out my life when things just seemed like it was "the end of the world" and how silly it was for me to feel that way. I took note of moments in life where God gave, and took away to mold me into who He wanted me to be. I can look back on losses and things I went through and I can see His hand through it all. NO matter WHAT, He remained faithful. So I've come to the conclusion and I still say these words with difficulty because lets be honest, trials suckkk!If terrible things I've never even dreamt of happening were to happen it would be terrible and I do not even know what I would do. But still, I've come to the conclusion that He has been faithful and will always remain faithful.The God we serve is amazing<3.
Immediately "Your Grace Is Enough" came to my mind.His grace
alone,should just be enough to prove His faithfulness. I included the lyrics below. I suggest that you really think about them and let them hit you.
